meetBSD was started in Krakow, Poland in 2004 and strong turnout and highly regarded technical presentations have allowed it to continue each year since then. meetBSD is a conference devoted to the BSD operating systems with a strong emphasis towards FreeBSD. meetBSD 2007 was held in Warsaw, Poland and will continue this year in Mountain View, California.
